U.S. Embassy established in different countries acts as an excellent intermediary for the related activities concerning U.S.
U.S. Embassy in Nairobi; capital of Kenya, was officially founded in 1964. Since then, it has been the rich source for incessantly augmenting relations between the two countries. The principal objectives of U.S. Embassy in Nairobi are promoting the growth of a quality economy of Kenya, augmenting the foundation of democratic system in the country, lending a supporting hand in thwarting the multiplication of AIDS and advancing the commercial affairs of both the countries.
Some of the services & departments of U.S.Embassy in Nairobi are Consular and commercial Services, Public Affairs, American reference center, Educational advising, U.S. Agricultural Service-Kenya, USAID, American citizen services, Non-immigrant visa and Immigrant visa. The embassy is not accessible to the public on the last Wednesday of every month and on any holiday of Kenya and U.S.
In case of non-immigrants, visa is issued by the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria or by the Consular section that permits the visa holder to take a trip to the United States and submit an application for permission for short-term holiday. Besides all this, candidates for visas need to appear in person for an interview that will be fixed only via appointment only.
